OCTOBER 25th, 1999
We are now back from the Grand National and World Championship Horse Show in Oklahoma and after all the unpacking, cleaning of tack and catching up on sleep, we can let you know what happened...LCS Strip Tease won the title of Grand National Pleasure Driving 4 Year Old Mare. She put on quite a show and brought home the blue for her new owner... That's right! LCS Strip Tease was sold just before the show began to Kim Weed of Jamul, California, and will be under the direction of Rock Walker Stables. Congratulations Kim!! We look forward to seeing Kim ride Stripper in the future.
Prior Knowledge did well and had his own little fan club. This was his first big show under saddle and we were just getting the hang of things. We believe he will be a sight next year!
Montbelle Skywalker came to OKC looking to win and he did. He captured the title of Grand National English Pleasure Amateur Gelding with Gail in the irons. In a huge class of world champions, Luke brought home Gail's first Grand National title. We will be back next year to capture the World Championship. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this season... You have been great.
Such was Oklahoma... lots of good gossip... lots of junk food... and lots of incredible horses! Can't wait for next year's show!!
